Premier Cardiology is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred cardiovascular care with a strong focus on improving patient outcomes. As a small practice with three experienced cardiologists, we are able to provide a personalised and attentive approach to every patient we see.
We specialise in comprehensive cardiac assessment, offering a range of cardiac diagnostic tests alongside expert cardiology consultations. Wherever possible, testing and specialist consultations can be arranged on the same day, helping to streamline care and provide timely answers for patients and referring doctors.
Because our practice is intentionally small, we can take the time to understand each patient’s individual health concerns, medical history, and treatment goals. This allows us to tailor investigations and management plans to the specific needs of every person we care for.
Our cardiologists are all independent practitioners bringing their independent expertise and clinical judgement to the management of each patient while working within a supportive practice environment committed to excellence in cardiovascular care.
Premier Cardiology also offers outpatient only cardiac testing including echocardiography (echo), stress echocardiography, stress testing, 24hr holter monitoring, 24hr Ambulatory BP monitoring and 28-day event monitoring. All testing is undertaken by experienced sonographers and Cardiac Scientists and reviewed by Cardiologists on-site. This ensures a quality service to our patients and referrers.
At the heart of our practice is a commitment to compassionate care, clear communication, and evidence-based medicine—ensuring patients receive the attention, respect, and clinical expertise they deserve.
Dr Andrew Small is the founder, owner and director of Premier Cardiology, he is also an independent practitioner. Dr Kelly Stanton and Dr Jonathan Sen are both independent practitioners. All Independent Practitioners set their own fee schedule.

Specialist Services
Premier Cardiology offers outpatient consultations and in-hospital care at the Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower, Brisbane.
We also offer cardiac testing at the Wesley Hospital which includes:
- Echocardiogram
- Holter Monitoring
- Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
- Resting ECG
- Exercise Stress Test (EST)
- Exercise Stress Echo (ESE)
- Event Monitoring
These tests attract a fee with a small out of pocket expense after Medicare is claimed.

Updates
From 1st October 2026, our cardiac testing fees will be increasing. This is a difficult decision, but the costs of running the practice have continued to rise, while Medicare rebates have not kept pace with these increases. We understand that any increase in healthcare costs can be difficult, and we have tried to keep our fees as reasonable as possible. Even with this adjustment, we remain mindful of keeping our fees competitive with other cardiology practices while continuing to provide the high-quality, personalised care and time our patients deserve.
