Dr Andrew Small
Dr Andrew Small is a General and Interventional Cardiologist practicing in the Brisbane metropolitan area. With over 15 years in private practice Andrew understand the needs of cardiac patients and aims to offer a comprehensive patient focused cardiology service. With a wealth of knowledge and clinical expertise within the cardiac catheter laboratory, Dr Small prides himself in offering a high standard of care for all his patients.
Dr Kelly Stanton
Dr Kelly Stanton is an experienced clinical cardiologist who is committed to providing excellent clinical care for her patients. She has experience in all aspects of cardiac care and has a strong interest in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease, including heart attacks, lipid disorders, heart failure and exercise and sports cardiology. She works with her patients to help them achieve their lifestyle and occupational goals which may be a simple stroll in the park or maintaining high level capacity at work, through to working with elite athletes.
Dr Jonathan Sen
Dr Jonathan Sen is a consultant cardiologist at Premier Cardiology, The Wesley Hospital. His practice covers general cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, heart valve disease, and cardio-oncology. He is one of only a handful of fellowship-trained cardio-oncology specialists in Queensland.

Senior Secretary / Receptionist
Amber is a highly experienced medical receptionist with over 11 years within our busy cardiology practice. She brings a deep understanding of cardiology procedures and cardiac testing, allowing her to confidently support both patients and clinical teams. Known for her professionalism and attention to detail, Amber consistently delivers a high standard of care, combining efficiency with genuine compassion to ensure every patient feels informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their journey. In her spare time, Amber enjoys gardening with her chickens and ducks.
Lou
Sonographer
Lou has worked with Premier Cardiology since it’s inception at The Wesley Hospital in 2020. She has over 15 years experience performing transthoracic echocardiography and has worked in both the private and public sector. In her spare time Lou is a dedicated soccer mum.
Paula
Cardiac Scientist
Paula is a Cardiac Scientist who joined the Premier Cardiology team in October 2025 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Echocardiography and Cardiac Physiology/Graduate Diploma of Echocardiography. She is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and values the human side of cardiology, especially the meaningful connections formed with patients. She looks forward to growing further within the Premier Cardiology team.
Nicky
Practice Manager / Nurse
Nicky has been in the healthcare field for 40 years. She is a registered Nurse with a background in Intensive Care nursing and Healthcare management. She is the Practice Manager for Premier Cardiology and general all-rounder where you may find her at front desk, undertaking your ECG, stress test or enjoying a chat with patients. She has an interest in healthcare quality initiatives and workplace health and safety. She is a mum of three older teenagers and in her spare time enjoys travelling and catching up with friends.
Aggie
Sonographer
Agatha is an experienced accredited cardiac sonographer with a strong passion for all things heart related. She began her career in cardiac sciences at Christchurch hospital in 2005. Since completing the post graduate diploma in cardiac ultrasound in 2007, she has presented at numerous local and national meetings, facilitated various scanning workshops for sonographers and clinicians, published journal articles and book chapters and currently tutors regularly in university settings.
Caitlin
Receptionist (Casual)
Caitlin is a current Bachelor of Arts/Laws student at the University of Queensland and has been working at Premier Cardiology since 2024. She brings enthusiasm, strong tech skills, and a fresh perspective to the front desk. She has an interest in sports including the Formula 1, NHL and Water Polo. In her spare time between study and work she enjoys listening to music.
Anniina
Receptionist
Anniina is the newest and youngest member of our team, she is a recent high school graduate, taking a gap year to gain real world work experience before commencing a Bachelor of Architectural Design degree. She has three years of reception experience but is new to the world of cardiology. Anniina enjoys cooking, going to the gym and snuggling up with her two cats. She has a bright and bubbly personality; you will always see her with a smile and positive attitude.

Clinic Coordinator / Receptionist
Erin has 15+ years experience supporting private practices and surgical teams to deliver personalised, patient focused care. An office all-rounder and team player, she is passionate about creating a smooth, supportive experience for both patients and staff. Outside of work she is a committed wife and devoted mother to energetic twin boys, who loves spending time outside and recharging in nature.

Nicky is a Registered Nurse. She has 34 years of experience, having specialised in Intensive Care nursing, Coronary Care nursing and Health Management. She works as the Practice Manager and Nurse within the practice. She is the busy mum of three active teenagers.
